Combat Parking

Perspective

imageThese signs are plastered all over theater.  They mean that those spots are for parking humvees and other tactical vehicles.  However, anytime I see one I can’t help but imagine Humvees whipping into the lot, tires screeching,  machine guns blazing, as the crews fight for the spot.  The winner is the first one to back in properly with his spotter still breathing.  Now, that is Combat Parking!  cool smirk

Well, I just had to make a comment about this…seeing as our middle son was stationed in Alaska for a while and talked about the favorite pasttime up there in the summer ...combat fishing…which is standing shoulder to shoulder in a river two or three people deep casting over the person in front of you when the salmon are running. I saw it when I was up there one summer…and I started cracking up with your description of combat parking….. smile Hang in there, soldier…..
