Anyone out there.
Just wondering if there are still any readers out there?
So just another “What’s happening here” kinda post. I am finally getting leave in a week or so. Going to spend some time very far away from here enjoying a hotel (which we got really cheap) and seeing the sights. We are planning to eat some real food and shop in real stores. Don’t get me wrong, I really do like the area, but sometimes you just miss the convenience of Target, Outback, and Best Buy.
I have some news regarding my next deployment, but I am keeping that close until it becomes public knowledge. I am also going to be doing a lot of flying and training for technical rescue operations, so I hope to share some really cool pictures of me hanging below helicopters and such soon.
So anyway, I guess if anyone is still reading “yet another milblog,” thanks.

Just got back here after a loooong hiatus and getting internet connection in the middle of the desert. I’m kinda your neighbor now. Living in Saudi and working as a ‘medic over here.
I’m flying through Kuwait on my way to Africa next month. I’ll wave in your direction as I zip by.
