An Unsolicited Plug
I have a few standard daily reads I either peruse via RSS or by actually visiting a site. (Imagine that!)
So, one of the sites I have begun following is In Iraq Now (At 56). The biggest reason I started reading it is because he writes a lot about the MEDEVAC unit. He takes some great pics and interviews some of the folks he works around. The thing is, for me at least, its a different perspective. He has an “outsiders” perspective, which isn’t bad. Its interesting to see how he views the job I do everyday. Where I might think something mundane and boring, he finds it worth writing about. Heck, he seems to find more to write about the MEDEVAC than I do lately.
Anyway, if you have some time, go check the site out. Even without the MEDEVAC, its a good look at the daily life of someone stuck in Iraq.
Oh, for some good recent pics, also check out this article.
