Not Much to Update

So, I haven’t posted in the past couple of weeks, because there hasn’t been anything to post about.  Things have been relatively quiet which is a good thing.  We have had MEDEVACs, but nothing really exciting to write about.  I have basically been living my daily life.

To that end, I have been updating the Twitter feed pretty regularly.  I have started using it for the little things that might pique interest but aren’t necessarily article worthy. The little bits that make life what it is, like a good meal, a terrible run, etc. Its easy for me to do quickly and its a different insight into what goes on daily here in the Sandbox.

I have been studying for the boards like crazy too.  I am up for the promotion board at the end of the month, and could use some really concerted prayer around the 30th. smile  I need to pass and make cutoff.  We can use the extra cash with the new baby coming.

I have also been playing with the site backend a bit, improving my RSS Feed (since that’s where most of my readership comes from) and working on some other projects for the site.  There are little social media links on the RSS Feed now as well as categories and its better formatted. I am working on adding the tweets to it, so you can keep up all in one place.  I am actually trying to make the tweets import as entries so people can comment directly and the flow will make more sense.  It a little harder than I suspected on both the RSS and the site.

As I said, not much interesting to say.  On a side note though, my old brigade is moving in and I keep running into people I know all over the place.  Its kinda nice to be able to catch up with people and see whats been going on.  The downside is that I can and will end up medevacing friends and colleagues.
